Terms and Conditions for Dr. Bren Therapy Services

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the therapy services, coaching, online courses, and community platforms provided by Dr. Bren. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services.

By accessing or using Dr. Bren’s therapy, coaching, and educational services (including online courses), you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you should not access or use our services.

Dr. Bren  provides therapeutic services, coaching, and educational content, including:

  • Individual Therapy: One-on-one sessions focused on emotional and psychological healing.

  • Coaching: Personal development and coaching services based on depth psychology, Jungian principles, and other related methodologies.

  • Online Courses: Educational programs and materials available for purchase or through membership, such as The Genius Circle and other courses related to Jungian psychology and self-development.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use our services.

  • Account Registration: To access certain services, including online courses or community membership, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information during registration and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You are also responsible for all activities under your account.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Active Participation: You agree to actively participate in therapy, coaching, and other services and engage respectfully with Dr. Bren and other community members. Your input, honesty, and collaboration are essential for the success of therapy and coaching.

  • Confidentiality: You agree to respect the confidentiality of others in the therapy or community settings. Any shared personal information should not be disclosed outside of the sessions or community forums unless express consent is given.

  • Compliance with Laws: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services complies with applicable laws, including but not limited to laws related to personal conduct, data protection, and privacy.

5. Fees and Payments

  • Payment Terms: You agree to pay the fees for therapy sessions, coaching, and online courses as outlined at the time of purchase or enrollment. Fees may vary depending on the service and payment plan selected.

  • Payment Processing: All payments for services are processed securely through third-party payment processors. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the services.

  • No Refund Policy: Due to the nature of the services, we generally do not offer refunds for therapy sessions or courses once payment has been made. Please review any applicable terms for specific classes or membership offerings.

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Client Confidentiality: All information shared during therapy sessions is confidential, except when disclosure is required by law (e.g., in cases involving harm to yourself or others). We will make every effort to protect your privacy and confidentiality.

  • Privacy Policy: Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, store, and use your data.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Session Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule a therapy or coaching session, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.

  • No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice is considered a "no-show" and may result in a fee for the missed session.

  • Course Enrollment: If you are enrolled in an online course, you may access the content according to the course's terms. However, once the course is initiated, refunds or cancellations may not be available.

8. Termination of Services

  • By You: You may terminate your therapy, coaching, or course services at any time by providing written notice to us. No refunds will be issued for payments that have already been made.

  • By Us: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to services if you fail to comply with these Terms or engage in behavior that disrupts the therapeutic or educational process, or violates community guidelines.

9. No Guarantee of Results

  • Therapy and Coaching: While we strive to provide high-quality services to support your personal growth, we do not guarantee specific results. Outcomes from therapy or coaching are dependent on various factors, including individual effort and circumstances.

  • Courses and Educational Materials: The educational content provided through online courses is for informational and personal growth purposes. We do not guarantee that the use of these materials will lead to specific outcomes.

10. Intellectual Property

All content provided as part of therapy, coaching, or online courses is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without explicit permission from Dr. Bren.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Bren and the therapy practice are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or emotional distress, resulting from the use of our services. You agree to use our services at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dr. Bren, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or any violation of these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms and your use of our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of [North Carolina/Durham], and you waive the right to a jury trial.
